Email Marketing
HalfMoon Education Inc.
HalfMoon Education's continuing education programs often required communicating large amounts of information while remaining readable across desktop and mobile devices. Because HTML email has unique technical limitations, I developed reusable, hand-coded HTML email templates using inline CSS. These templates streamlined production while maintaining consistent branding and organization across more than 5,000 email campaigns. The examples below show how typography, visual hierarchy, and thoughtful organization helped communicate complex program information.
Single-Program Emails
These single-program emails promoted individual continuing education webinars by presenting detailed course information in a clear, easy-to-scan format. Typography, visual hierarchy, and accessible organization helped readers quickly identify the topic, continuing education credits, and registration details. The example below shows a finished email alongside a portion of the hand-coded HTML template used to create it.
Multi-Program Catalog Emails
These multi-program catalog emails highlighted related continuing education webinars within a single campaign, allowing readers to compare topics, dates, and continuing education credits at a glance. Built from the reusable HTML templates described above, each campaign maintained a consistent layout while accommodating changing program information. Below is an example of a finished email alongside a portion of the HTML template used to build it.
These promotional email campaigns consisted of a series of coordinated emails built around seasonal themes, holidays, and special marketing initiatives throughout the year. Unlike routine webinar marketing emails, each message was developed specifically for its campaign by building on previous emails, modifying existing HTML and inline CSS, and creating new code and layouts as needed. This approach maintained a consistent visual identity while keeping each email fresh and engaging throughout the series.
